The Swear Police
The Swear Police
Swear Police was shot on a brutally hot Sunday in August in an alley in Los Angeles. Total crew of four. We all had a great time shooting it and we were all really sore the next day.
All of the dialogue is scripted.
“The Swear Police” won its category at the 2009 LA Comedy Shorts Festival (Atomic Wedgie Best Shortie-Short under 5 mins).
The award was presented by Carlos Alazraqui and Cedric Yarbrough from “Reno 911,” which I'm guessing was a coincidence.
The award has a man’s ass on it.

"The Swear Police" was an official selection in the 2009 AOF International Film Festival but Joe Wilson, personally, unselected "The Swear Police" from this "festival" in protest of AOF charging filmmakers $150 per ticket to the awards ceremony.
